Kelly and Christopher had planned a small, backyard wedding well before COVID-19 was a threat to their day. So to say they were lucky that they didn’t have to worry about cancelling, rearranging, postponing, and changing venues was an understatement! Of course, it didn’t come with it’s mid-pandemic worries – with family not being able to travel to the wedding from out of town, the best friend/officiant possibly not making it in from Seattle (don’t worry, she made it!)…but thanks to modern technology, friends and family from all over were able to watch the ceremony live!

Seriously, these small backyard, intimate weddings are completely my jam!! The lack of stress and timelines to follow is such a breath of fresh air and you really get to see the bride and groom just enjoy the day and each other. So if you are on the fence about a smaller, more intimate wedding or even elopement, I say GO for it! You will NOT regret it!
