What are your rates for weddings?
Wedding Collections range from $2500 to $4200. If you would like more information on these collections, head over to my contact page and send me a message! It's important to know that these wedding collections are adjustable. The more I know about your big day, the better I can help you create a package that fits your needs!
Where are you located? Will you travel?
I am located in Peoria, Illinois but would LOVE to travel for your wedding!
What should we wear for our engagement session?
Wear something you absolutely love! Matching outfits are out and eclectic, fun, flowy, true-to-you is in! Engagement photos are a perfect excuse to get a new outfit. :)
Where should we have our engagement session?
I have lots of places that I can suggest to you for engagement photo locations, but this is your chance to plan an adventure, so wherever you see that adventure taking you, I can come along! Whether it's a bike ride on your favorite path, a picnic in the park (or woods...I LOVE the woods!), a walk along the river, a hike through a creek...whatever it is, make it something that reflects who YOU are!
Can I give you a list of specific shots we would like or photos we've seen on Pinterest?
Of course - I always welcome ideas! But the best thing you can do is to trust your photographer. Know that I will capture all the big moments - and the small ones in between! That's why I always have a second shooter with me for weddings, so that we catch everything! The only list of shots I will ask you to make is a list of formal family portraits that you would like to get and we will make sure to get those done right after the ceremony.
Do you have backup equipment? What about a backup plan?
I have never had anything malfunction on me before, but it is very important to have backups. So yes, I have all the back up equipment that may be needed if an issue occurs. I have never missed a scheduled event, but in the highly unlikely event I was unable to make it to your wedding, I would do my best to have a skilled photographer equipped and ready to go for you.
How many photographs will I receive in my gallery?
Depending on the collection you choose, and how many hours I am with you, the amount of photos can range from 300 to 800. Sometimes more, sometimes less. It depends on your timeline and what you have planned for the day. Engagement sessions usually get somewhere around 40-50 images.
Do you provide retouching, color adjustment or other corrective services?
Yes, all of the photos that you will receive will be fully edited by me. I have worked very hard to get my editing consistent to represent me as a photographer, so the type of editing you see throughout my website is how your photos will be edited as well. I take great pride in my photos and want you to feel amazing on your wedding day! If you have any concerns or requests, please discuss them with me.
Do you offer a second photographer?
Yes! I almost always have a second photographer with me the day of the wedding. Her name is Ashley and she is amazing! We work super great together and love to bounce ideas off each other - and we LOVE to laugh!
How long after the wedding will I receive my photos?
It will take anywhere from 3-6 weeks for me to edit and deliver your full gallery to you. This depends on the time of year and my schedule. I try as hard as I can to get your photos done as soon as possible because I know how anxious you are to see them (believe me- I was a bride too once!)
When will I receive a contract?
Once you have chosen me to be your photographer (woohoo!) the next step is to sign the online contract, followed by paying your non refundable retainer. Once the signed contract and deposit are complete, your wedding date is on my calendar and secure!
What is my payment schedule?
A non refundable retainer is due at the time of booking and signing of the contract. The retainer is put towards your total collection price. The remaining balance is due one week prior to your wedding date. I accept checks by mail, cash, credit card payments and PayPal.
