A morning in the park is always fun, but when you’re there to photograph a family like this, it’s a blast! I had so much fun with the Alwan’s! The kids are so full of energy and we had fun playing a few games and just being silly! Tasha and Simon said they haven’t done family photos in a VERY long time, so I was so honored to be able to capture this time in their lives for them!
Sweet, sweet Claire. That is the best word to describe this little cutie! She was such a laid back baby and so was mom and dad! I’m pretty sure this was the easiest newborn session to date! I love that they just wanted everything to be very natural, no crazy props or anything, just them in their home, lovin on that sweet baby girl! This is definitely my favorite type of newborn session!
I loved getting to photograph Connor, his mama and his big sisters Emma and Lyla! Connor wasn’t in the best of moods the day I came over, so we went with the flow and got lots of shots of the girls and mom snuggling with him! But regardless of the bit of crying (which believe me, happens at almost EVERY newborn session!), Connor was absolutely adorable and I had so much fun capturing this special time for their family!
Last month I had the pleasure of going up to Milwaukee (along with videographer Connor from Hoop House Creative) to photograph Bridget and Jake’s engagement session. Not only did we have a blast getting to know these two that day, but they were amazing tour guides and showed us a great time! We got to see so many cool places that day and I will never forget the fun we had! I seriously can’t wait to photography Bridget and Jake’s wedding! We have so much in common from our love, ok obsession, with Harry Potter to our love for the Beatles! Hope you enjoy some of these photos from our day in Milwaukee!
The early spring this year in the Midwest was more like an extra winter, so it took at least 3 tries to finally get this sweet senior session with Katie done! It snowed practically every weekend, and while we didn’t mind a little snow, the bitter cold was no fun! We finally hit a non-snowy but somewhat rainy weekend, so decided to take things indoors at Luthy Botanical Gardens! Luckily the rain held off for long enough that we were able to get a few outdoor shots while we were there! But regardless of the crummy weather, Katie was amazing! This girl is gorgeous, and let’s talk about that red hair!! She knows just how to look at the camera with a little bit of sass and confidence. Congrats on your senior year, Katie!
