I'm Kristen! I am a wife, mother, lover of nature, good books, wind blown hair and the beach! I didn't discover photography until my mid 20's, but dabbled in many art mediums before that, including, dance, gymnastics, drawing, painting, sewing, a little bit of graphic design and singing just to name a few. But I finally felt at home with my art when I bought my first big girl camera about 7 years ago. 

I was born and raised in Central Illinois, and my heart longs to live by the coast. Maybe one day! When I'm not photographing my sweet clients, you can find me spending time with my husband Joe, 5 year old Colin and our pup Gizmo, and also spending lots of time with our extended family that we love more than anything! 

One of my absolute favorite things about being a photographer is that I most of the time end up making great new friends! I love going on adventures with friends (aka clients), with lots of laughs and getting a little dirty along the way! I love watching a family share laughs and dance around together, or snuggle their newborn in those first few days at home.
